BENEFITS OF CERTIFICATION

New export markets

A factory or product that receives the kosher stamp opens up a new market for itself in front of a customer base numbering millions of Jews who are careful to consume only kosher food and drinks (who are usually successful and have financial means). Large Jewish communities exist in the USA, Israel, Canada, Russia, Europe, Australia, South America, and hundreds of other countries from all over the world. A kosher factory or product will surely gain thousands or even millions of new customers in these countries, so the investment in providing kosher food is very worthwhile.

ABOUT KOSHER CEBU

Kosher Certification

Welcome to the website of the Kosher Cebu Organization.

The organization is under the supervision of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Axelrod - Rabbi of the Chabad House and Rabbi of the Jewish community in Cebu Philippines. He was ordained to the rabbinate by the chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef, and by the head of the central Lubavitch Tomchi Tamimim Yeshiva in New York, Rabbi Shneor Zalman Lavkovsky.

"You are what you eat." Keeping food kosher is one of the most important commandments that Jewish people follow. When a person eats or drinks kosher food or drink, he creates blood and flesh from those things in his body, and therefore there the food has a direct effect on the human body and soul.

Our supervision of kosher food production is serious and consistent. We are required to verify that all the components and raw materials are approved and kosher, and that the production process is done in the kosher manner according to all the rules and requirements of the Jewish Biblical Law.
